Hotel Accommodations

The official host hotel and center of activity for TotalConnection 2009 is:

Book your room early!
A limited number of discounted guest rooms have been arranged at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort and Convention center.

Rate details: The special negotiated rate of $195 per night (plus tax) is available to TotalConnection attendees while space is still available under the room block and cannot be guaranteed after Friday, April 10, 2009. The discount rate for the conference continues to be honored on a first-come, first-served basis, or until the room block is filled. After April 10, 2009, the prevailing rates will apply pending availability.
Note: The negotiated rate will be honored three (3) days prior to or following the conference, pending space availability.

Government rate: Discounted rates are available to government employees at the prevailing government rate. To make your reservation, please email willie.ortega@marriott.com and reference the SumTotal TotalConnection conference. Proof of a government employee ID and a form of government payment are required. Note: Government rates will not be offered from the Marriott registration site.

Hotel guarantee/cancellation policy: All reservations must be accompanied by a first-night room deposit, guaranteed with a major credit card. Reservations must be canceled by 4:00pm ET the day prior to the scheduled arrival date. No refunds will be given for cancellations after that time. No-shows will be charged for one night’s room rate plus tax.

Airline reservations

SumTotal is pleased to announce a special 2009 airline travel discount arranged with American Airlines for this year’s user conference. The special TotalConnection discounts include:

1. Discount Fares; 5% off Coach and First Class
2. Low-rate “zone fares”

For discount or zone fare reservations, please call the American Airlines Meeting Services at 1-800-433-1790 ($15 USD per person ticketing service fee applies). Hours of operation are 6 AM to 12 midnight Central Time daily. Discount fare reservations only can be made on the American Airlines website at www.aa.com (no service fees apply). Transportation

The Orlando World Center Marriott is located 15 miles SW from the Orlando, FL airport (MCO) and 10 miles NE from Kissimmee, FL Airport (ISM). Estimated transportation fares are:

• $19 (one way) per person for Mears Shuttle
• $45 for a taxi
• $75 (one way) for limousine
• Note: The Marriott does not provide shuttle service from either airport.

Parking

In addition to securing a great room rate, SumTotal Systems has arranged for our TotalConnection guests to receive complimentary self-parking (a $12.78/day value). Should you choose to use the hotel’s parking services, the daily $21.30 valet fee will apply.
